have you done your research on the breed, and do you know how you're going to bring the dog back from the uk?? Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, but this is not a box of chocolates, it's a living breathing dog.

I read this as they want one from the uk and as partner travels regularly to UK wouldn't be an issue picking it up! I don't know which country you ar in but arew there not reputable breeders in your country where you can actually visit them and take a look at their stock?
