We have a 2 1/2 year old Dobermann, who is very good natured.
I am looking for a companion/second dog. i am considering a irish setter dalmation or may be something a little smaller like a staffie.

Hi Paul,

You don't say which sex your Dobe is - might be best to get the opposite sex for your next companion provided one or both are neutered or you can separate during seasons.

A weim might be ok with your dobe, but I agree that the opposite sex would be better. If you want further info on rescue weims please e mail and I will forward you some info and answer any questions you might have. I have weims waiting for new homes now...

PS: if you click on my name and then on the e mail addy from there I will try and help you

Hi Paul

I suppose a more helpful answer might be to ask you some more questions. How much time can you/your family devote to a second dog. Do you go to training classes or anything with your current Dobe, why do you want a second dog and anything else you can think of may help us come up with another breed for you :-)
