It wouldnt surprise me.
Going back 10-15 years the women I used to work for went back to the bench (I think after showing another dog) and found Captain(an Irish Setter) ill. Someone had sprayed something in his face. His mouth and throat swelled up. He would never go in the show ring again.
A tall guy with a hat and a trench coat did it (he cowered whenever he saw someone like that after the incident) So am sure it happens more times than once in 20 years.

Did anyone else hear about the poodle who had all its pom poms cut off???  Thats not as bad but still petty!!!

I know that in the breeds im in most bring a friend and take shifts in doggy sitting!!!  ts the only way to be really safe and I normally will keep an eye on everyone elses dogs incase they disapear!!
