Hi, No such thing as a Black Westie, I think you must mean a Scottish Terier (Scottie). There are not that very many bred, well not nearly as many as Westies, anyway. You will almost certainly have to book a puppy in advance. Make sure the parents are tested and clear of Von Willdebrands disease, which some Scotties carry in their genes and is a very nasty and life-shortening disease. Can't help with breeders personally, but you can search this site, also www.dogclub.co.uk which has all the breed clubs contact nos. Contact the Scottish Terrier Breed Club/s and ask about breeders with puppies for sale/expected.
You could also ring the Kennel Club and ask for a list of recently registered puppies. Do not assume that puppies on this list are in any way approved, they are just puppies that have been recently registered, which could contain puppy farmers as well as reputable breeders. If you want further info about how to buy a puppy from a good breeder e-mail me and I will try and help.

If you e mail me I can pass on some breeders phone numbers for you to try, not sure if any are in your area, I gather you mean a Scottish Terrier, there is no breed called a black westie. You will have to wait for a litter being born and be prepared to travel for your pup.

Hi, regarding "black westie" All westies are white. You must either mean a Scottish Terrier, black or dark brindle with a long head compared to a westie, or a Cairn Terrier, which (among many other colours) can be very dark black brindle with a black head. and is shaped much like the westie, that is with shorter muzzle than A Scottish Terrier. Hope that this helps you. Haze
