We already have an 18 month old Weimaraner bitch and have caught the bug! We are now looking to introduce another Weimaraner bitch to our family. We are moving house in a couple of weeks and going on holiday in June and want to get settled before adding to our family - if anyone has any litters due that would be ready to leave their mothers in early July or later please contact me at davidandkeiley@aol.com

If you contact the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain and/or the Weimaraner Association they will forward you puppy lists from breeders who belong to them. They will abide by a code of ethics which ensures no bitch is served prior to two years old, whelps more than 3 times in her lifetime or after 7 years old. Members are also encouraged to have their breeding stock health checked; the average hip score for Weimaraners is 13.
Have you thought of taking on one from rescue? Unfortunately due to cash crop breeders more than 2.900 were born in 2003 and there are a large number in rescue through no fault of their own.
