Does anyone know of a good class in the Bristol and surrounding area? I currently clicker train but that is in blocks, and we have a four week course starting this week but I dont want to just finish at the end of it - and am also keen to gain our canine good citizenship!! :D So if anyone knows of a good bunch to socialise with and of course help with the doggy training I would appreciate it!

Don't know anything about it Sarah but I do know that Bristol uesd to have an active obedience club. Many years ago a friend of mine was judging "B" at their open show and being short of a steward I got press ganged into stewarding for him. I remember a very nice roast lunch with a very respectable white wine!
Best wishes, John

theres loads of good clubs around bristol such as Bath alsation & also clevedon club.
i go to a fanastic club abit down the road near burnham/weston.
have a look on the obedience uk web site. theres lots of club contact details on there.

Hi Sarah, I do agility at Celestine dog training in Yate but I know the guy who runs it does an obedience class before agility. They are listed in the Yellow Pages.
Hope this helps

No probs, might even see you there :D :D
Where about in Bristol are you - south, west, east, north or on the outskirts. I come from Bristol but have just moved to W-S-M. We go to the local vets for our training classes.

There are a few in Bristol, but not many really good ones. Like Liz I have just moved from Bristol to W-S-M, so I have left my good class behind, although I have found another quite local!

Sarah

well im going to burnham on sea now ,just off junc 22(m5) really good club for pet or comp obedience.
We go to private training in winterbourne (is that in Bristol?!?!) - pretty good - as trainer has just won the dog obedience championships at crufts and his dog is dog cc record holder!
