hi guys i am so sorry for being a pain withthe questions but need advice.
My mitzy is at day 45 of her pregnancy and her teats are leaking a little she is always cleaning and scratching at them is this normal.
Also how far on will she be when can see the puppies moving in her abdomen.
Her temp is normal she is eating well and her stools are normal she is passing urine more often than usual and has took to hiding under my bed and sleeping.
I have turned my spare bedroom into a whelping room with her whelping box and is well heated so there is not chills or draughts but she just sits and whines outside my bedroom door and either goes under the bed or sleeps in the corner near my built in wardrobe is this normal behaviour for still being some way off her due date.

thanks in advance.

mike

She just wants your reassurance she doesn't realise that the whelping box is for her pups but she will once they are born.

Let her sleep where ever she feels comfortable at the moment. She is full of hormones and not quite sure what to do. I usually let my girls dig, go in their holes and lay in the most unusual places right up to the last possible second, that way they relax and get on with it all naturally without the stress of be made to go where WE think they should.
