Can anyone tell me what type of show these are,or what it means?

They can be limited to one breed, certain classes (the lower level classes), people living in a certain area or members of a certain club.

Does this help?

Any dog that has won a Challenge Certificate CANNOT enter these shows. It's a more relaxed show. Basically it's open to all breeds of dog. The ones I've been to were open to Members only.

They can be all breed or one breed & all exhibitors have to be members that the limited bit ie limited to members as well as no CC winners

They were very popular before the crze for championship shows took off

They are the next step after Companion dog shows in that the dogs have to pedigree & KC registered

They are good judging experience too It where all good all rounders should start

I run two a year & we have great fun A little organization needed & far more relaxed that open or championship shows
