I mentioned this on my other thread about the dog listener - but wondered what everyones views were on the best way to introduce our new pup.  She is a leonberger and will arrive tomorrow - she is 11/12 weeks old and we already have a wee doggy called Indy (indiana jones) and he is a border collie x australian cattle dog and is such a lovely chap who recently was bereaved of our other dog who died about a month ago from cancer.  how do we make new dog happy and old dog happy? would love some advice!

We have a westie who is soon to be ten. She was one of three till we lost two within a year. We got a rough collie puppy at eight weeks, when we went to bring the puppy home Rosie went with us. It took about a two weeks before Rosie went near the pup. We never left them on their own and tried not to make more of the puppy. Once Amy started to grow a bit rosie started to play with her. I was lucky. We let Rosie come round in her time. Now they are the best of friends Be natural always include the dog remember its king pin
