Topic Dog Boards / Health / Still poorly

AS someone you may know, my Havanese Dougal has been poorly since Saturday. Nasty runs with blood temp of 104 he saw the emergency vet on Saturday, and he gave him a jab amd somethjing for his water and granuals for his food. He did seem to pick up and vet have him the all clear on Monday, he has sent samples away for testing, which will be back later this week. Vet will not give antibiotics until he know for sure what he has got or had. He seems pretty down in the dumps again today and would only have a little scambled egg for breakfast. blood in his diarear (sorry about spelling). With him only being seven months old,a nd the fact that we have only had him a week, I know it is all very upsetting for him. I don't wont to stress him out even more, but I am worried about his bum and hair around it, as It is very dirty. I have been using wipes and bathing him but I'm worried that he will get cold and even more stressed. I did notice that this morning he was lying in a very submissive position when I went to him. Should I just leave him to try and clean himself, but then I'm worried that he might be reinvecting himself.
