We are going on Sunday but not showing, our staffie unfortunately isn't show quality (serious fault undershot) but we love him to bits anyway. Really looking forward to it this year and seeing all the staffies and english bull terriers.
Lel - good luck - it would be great to know your staffs name so we could see him compete :)

Well, fond as I am of Mable I have ot admit that her missing out on Crufts due to a season would not be quite as serious as Casey ;)

Ohhh Linda I'm joining you on that freak fest, Rosi has been trying to have a season since December not due till end March and today the Pom's glued to her rearend and she's grown her coat back - only she know's what's going on with her hormones but if her daddy does the elephant trailing too she won't be going!!!!
Mind that is all just a distraction as I have my DLA appeal on Wednesday morning in front of 3 professionals a Dr, a lawyer and a social worker plus the DWP may send an officer from their offices to fight me despite what their own dr said about my disability so I may be on the floor by Crufts and the dogs going without me!

Well I really must say that my Jozi has always ben rather kind about when she came in season, especially as I don't so all the shows.
She came into her second season (unexpectedly early) the day after her first CC at our club show3 in 2001. She had finished in 2002 before Windsor and the World Show, but started after Bath.
Now having had her litter on 3rd of September I had expected her to come in again by early February. This time she cut it really fine, adn is just finishing, with us doing discover Dogs on Thursday, and showing Sunday :D
Now she just has to behave, and not be qquite as spirited and individualistic as she often is!!
Would just like to say good luck to everyone showing at crufts :-) I have shown twice now at Crufts and remember my first time like it was yesterday, I was soooooo nervous beforehand. Felt terribly sick, couldn't speak to anyone and just about drank a bottle of rescue remedy :D But do you know what, when I got in that big ring I was sooooo relaxed I just couldn't believe it and then when I went again last year I was much more relaxed. I think its because you have all this space and are not crowded around like you are in the smaller rings at the open and some champ shows.
Hope I'm just as relaxed this time

Will probably be a bundle of nerves and have a terrible day now that I've just posted this message :p

Hi folks - it's me - I'm back - suffered from BT line down for over two weeks PLUS really bad bronchitis (I'm still supposed to be in bed :( ) As things are at the moment, I don't even know if I'm going to make Crufts :( :( :( - I'm certainly not going to be able to run Loki round - so hopefuly, I've roped in a friend to help - Loki hates running for Al - he is showing Beau, Kealie is having stage fright at the thought of being in the ring with Vinnie.
So I'm absolutely full of nerves - have started making a list of everything needed - hopefully have got everything together already - and after having bought my outfit, I won't be wearing it:(
If I do get there on Saturday - I'll be the one on the Aussie scene sounding as if she has kennel cough!!!
