yipeee! was worried i could go, but im there!
Im armed with my notebook, im going to decide on a breed!
I quite like the curly coated retriever now aswell!

Im going on Gundog day, have booked my tickets (buy one get one free with my kennel club credit card :) )  Ill be looking at the Irish Setters and probably hasseling a few owners with stacks of questions :P

I'm going on Saturday  - our tickets arrived in the post today!!  :D

I applied for mine at discover dogs - got a £10 voucher to spend on the kennel club stand too :)  you will be able to apply for one at crufts, its probably too late to apply for one now to take up the buy one get one free offer.  The card is provided by beneficial which is part of the HSBC group, you could try the kennel club website if you cant wait until crufts :)

Don't worry Emma, I can't remember what time it opens for the 'general public'.
But us dog show folk get there at the crack of dawn, do our shopping and bagsy our seats
ringside for the breed judging to start.

I think we're planning on leaving home at about 8.30am to get there for about 10am!!  I've been on the Crufts website and have seen a sofa bed for dogs - just the right size for Glaz, hopefully I'll be able to buy one and I'll probably be curling up on it myself on the train home!!

I must remember to measure bradleys neck for a new collar. Ive got my daughter weight training so she can carry all the bags (thats me and my mum and all our purchases).

Iv just had a great idea,  so you all recognise me on Saturday instead of wearing a name badge I will dress up as a bannana that way you could instantly distinguish me from the rest of the crowd. Mind you I would have to drive up in my bannana suit.

EMMA and charanda , i'll be there on saturday aswell ,I was reading the crufts supplement in Dog world this morning and getting really excited. Would you pm me with your numbers aswell please.

After all the effort liberty put into the badges i think everyone that has one should wear it .

I am sure I remember some one saying that the Kennel Club stand do Litter registrations and Pedigree's just wondered what other paper work they may do, if any?

At the KC stand you can do litter registrations, change of ownership,  Affix applications and stuff like that.  You can also get a printed, bound list of all liters a bitch  has had, or a dog has sired.  Also sign up for publications such as Breed Records Supplements and Gazette.  then they have the rules books etc on sale, and a whole load of companion dog and obedience stuff which I know nothing at all about!

I am from Lincolnshire, So having to leave about 6.30 to get there at a reasonable time. Planning on being stuck in traffic for a good hour near the NEC :(

Im going Friday and Sunday, Can't wait. Bit disappointed that im not going on Saturday for the huskies but can't complain when im not paying, will have to make the most of them at Discovery Dogs. I will also be up at 5:00am to get there when the doors open.

Crufts! Brilliant! Will be there for all four days, Curly Coats are nice but come and have a look at the Chesapeakes, they are nicer (only a bit biaised). Any CD ers who are about on Saturday and Sunday don't forget to visit the nylabone stand!

We're going Thursday, going straight to see the pugs and then will feel green with envy coz I want one :D

I BE THERE ON FRIDAY WITH 4 FCR BUT I GOT TO LEAVE ABOUT 5AM HAS TEYHA IN THE RING AT 8,30 TO EARLEY FOR A PUPPY AND HER MUM BE IN AROUND 4PM IT GOING TO BE AT GREAT DAY AS IT MY BIRTHDAY AS WELL.

:(wish i was going hubby wont take me this year went last year for the first time had a good day only we went on sunday i wanted to see the rotties and dobies.

We are going up on Wednesday and takeing the caravan, there is a site at Meriden about 10 mins from the NEC, so will be going in every day, want to see the Lhasa Apsos( started with them in 1979) and the Tibetan Terriers. do a bit of shopping, in on Fridayfinish off shopping and nabbing free samples, Will be round the Tibetan Mastiff rings and Newfoundland rings, then Sunday back for Best in show and general look round, when home on Monday for a couple of days in bed haveing night mares about the credit card bills

i am going on hound day, we are leaveing brighton at 5 in the morning so we miss all the traffic, i just want the perfect pink collar for my dear little Whippet and of course all the freebies

do you get some good bargins on the last day??

cant belive the price that the 1 day admin tickets are going for on ebay. 1set of 2  tickets are going for £25!!! they only 12.50 on the door
