Wednesday night is training night for Cree my GSD.  Last night (and this has also happened at the last few classes)
we sat no more than about 3 feet away from another dog and she only barked once at it!  I know that this does
not sound very good but believe me compared to what she used to be like this is a small miracle. :)
So we finally seem to be making some progress with stopping the barking and lunging when she gets close to
other dogs, also doesn't bark at people when we walk past any more but will still bark at a person if they hesitate in stroking
her as she becomes unsure of them - but again this is better than what she was like as she used to bark wildly at people
even if they were quite a distance from her.  I hope the above hasn't made her sound like a really bad dog because
she isn't but we have had some difficult times, now though things seem to be looking up a bit:)  Sorry if I have waffled on a
bit but just needed to share how pleased at am with her after last night. :)

Great news, its a relief to see some results for all your work isnt it? :) I wouldnt think she was a bad dog, just one with "issues"  or a shy GSD.
