hi to those who do know me and the vast problems i have had.
Well my life in 1 week has really taken off, shiba has had 4 passes in her puppy foundation book as part of the good citizen dog scheme, i have also been refered to a center to train with shiba as a support dog to help me round the house when i am unable to bend and pick things up etc.
The main thing is i recieved some paperwork through this morning for Pets As Therapy, it is an organisation for pets and owners to help people [free] as a volunteer around south yorkshire.
If we pass: shiba and i will visit, care homes for the elderly and disabled, hospitals to aid anyone in physio therapy, people frightened by dogs, schools, establishments etc.
for example, a child in hospital with ms, their in physio to help arm muscles, we could help by giving the child the oppotunity to meet shiba and try to stroke her or throw her toy.

theres tons more info but my excitement and knowledge will fill the whole board.
i feel like shouting from the roof. im inspired to help others and get out of this miserable week of feeling sorry for myself and reach out to those who we can help.
i have to wait for another few weeks when shiba will be 6 months old then she will be assessed.
god i feel damn great.

whoops         2, mistakes i wrote, shiba has got to have been in my care for 6 months, then at 9 months she can be assessed.and its not just in south yorkshire it is run all over the place, us and uk i know of so far. we will mainly be in south yorkshire
It does not matter to me as in the next few months her training will be nearly complet and she hopefully will have passed her puppy foundation, [gcds]
then i can go for gold, haha
