MY EIGHT WEEK OLD PUP WAS 5 AND A HALF WHEN HE LEFT HIS MOM AND 7 AND A HALF WEEKS WHEN HE LEFT HIS LITTER. WAS THIS TO YOUNG ? DID HE HAVE THE NECESSARY TIME TO LEARN HOW HARD TO BITE ? THANKS

You deserve a medal to cope with a Boxer x Lab, is he ever on four feet :)

Relax! He will have started to learn bite inhibition, but you will have to carry on the good work that his siblings started. Buy a copy of "The Perfect Puppy" by Gwen Bailey. I'm sure you'll find it invaluable for a long time. Good luck.
