I have been to the vets on what should have been day 50 after the first mating. He could not feel anything and the scan showed absolutely nothing. My bitch is showing all the signs, (off her usual food, very clingy, not wanting to go out for a walk, teats sagging, very broad at the back end) however her belly does look incredibly flat. Her ribs have gone out nearly at right angles and I started to wonder if she could possibly be carrying the pups very high in her ribs?
I would hate to be caught out, could anyone give me some advice?
Should I carry on treating her as if she could be pregnant or do I try to jog her out of it?

That has happened to my moms dog.You should wait and do nothing.She will lose all the pregnancy symptoms,and go on like it never happened.
