could anyone please give me some advice,i have a 8 month old gsd with great potential ,he is good with people in general ,but the few times i have tried to show him he has backed away and even barked at the judge .i have tried everyone i meet going over him and he is fine it is when he gets one to one with the judge he gets very nervous , someone recomended giving him a herbal remedy just to relax him but i am not sure about giving such a young dog tablets  could any body help thanks 

the herbal remedy they mentioned could be rescue remedy.
have you gone to ringcraft classes as they should be able to help you, it is ok to get friends etc to go over your dog,as he is comfortable with them but you need to get different people strangers that are used to dogs to go over him, i find ringcraft helps many dogs, that is as long as the ringcraft class you choose are good.
