would like to know, and sorry if it's been asked loads of times, when I finally get my male dog ,hopefully in a few months time, should I neuter him, or spay my bitch? I definately do not want to breed them, and am a bit confused as to what would be the best course of action. My girl has regular seasons and would be due to start again in August .She is nearly three, no health problems and is sweet and docile . We would be getting our boy end of June. Both Lhasa Apso's. Any advice much appreciated.

Why not do both?

hi i have both mine spayed / neutered no problems with both, i had my male neutered first then when our girl came along we had no hesitations as to whether to get her spayed or not we did not plan to breed from either of them and it eliminates any eventuality of possible accidental matings from either 1 from your own household or outside your home. hope this helps in some way. ;-) :-)
