My bitch is due into season around the end of may beg of june by then she will be 1 yr 8 mths. What are your thoughts on mating her at this age coz by the time she has her pups she will be about 1 yr 10 mths. Should I wait till the season after that or should I mate her next season. Will the Kennel club register the pups if she had them before she was 2?
I have already had her hips scored (5/6) and have a dog lined up that has a hip score of 4:3 and he is haemophilia clear

Why the rush?  Why not wait until your bitch is at least two and mature to maximise her health and that of the pups?

There is no rush just wondered what you guys thought. Since I got her hips done the breeder has been asking me when I'm going to mate her (think she wants one of her pups) and I told her I dont know depends if anything goes wrong in the meantime. Of course I want her to be in the best condition and of maximum health just didnt know if you lot thought it was too early

Is it her third season ? I would wait until she is two before breeding as GSD's do not really mature until they are 2 years old.
