I am trying to find out about the Welsh Border Collie, if there is such a a thing.  I have just acquired a short haired supposedly pure bred border collie.  I have been told that his characteristics are that of a welsh border collie.  Does anybody have any information that may help.

there is a dog called a welsh sheepdog,that is geneally gold & white,usually with Black pigment, tend to be abit bigger than a collie although some are same size.
my friend has one but he has very bad epilepsy.
