Just wondering if anyone is going to the St Patrick's Day show on 20th March. For anyone that doesn't know it is the Irish version of Crufts. It is the IKC show in The National Show Centre in Dublin. It is on the 20th and 21st March and it would be great to see some people there.

I will be there (though not showing) on the Sunday for the Terriers (Staff's) and the Best in Show.

Yes I am going for the first time, with the coaches to shows coach party.  I am taking my new pup, and it will be her first ever show!!!  She will have her Mum there too, and will have done discover Dogs at Crufts first though :D  She will be six months and a day first day of Crufts.

Must say I think the Irish KC registration document much nicer than our British one!!  Much clearer and larger font.

Hi Maddness

I'll be there on the Sunday with two Interim Jack Russell Terriers. Feel free to say 'HI!' ;o)  Both have Chelcourt as their prefix.  We're in Open Dog and Open Bitch

There will also be assessments for non-registered Jack Russells...so anyone reading this from Ireland, with a JRT...feel free to come along and get your dog assessed for inclusion on the Interim Register...dog must be over 12 months of age.

See you there

hi if you have a dog reg with UK KC you may only exhibit in Northern Ireland The IKC covers the republic and now a few Northern Societies are opting out if KC and alligning themselves with IKC ,I will be there both Days Saturday with Pei And Sunday with Tibetan Mastiffs two round trips for me.

Hi traleah

I'm not 100% sure about this, so please contact the IKC for definite answers - www.ikc.ie - use the phone numbers on the contacts page (don't bother emailing - you'll never get a reply)...keep trying the phone numbers...they're not *always* engaged ;o)

I think you can just join as an IKC member and show your dogs...either that or you'll need to join AND register your dogs.
However it works...you'll get a very warm welcome at the shows...;o)

There's no need to qualify...you just enter.  Entries closed back in January...so if want to enter next year contact the IKC and get yourself on the mailing list.
