Topic Dog Boards / Health / sick after worming
- By lindaphillips [gb] Date 22.02.04 17:55 UTC
hi,
I wormed my 6 mnth cocker today with panacur favourites (meaty tablet)  She has just been sick.  I have used panacur paste in the past with no problems but thought that because she's 6 mnths she could have the panacur favourite.
Should I give her her tea or starve her until tomorrow?  Another question is as she tolerates the paste can I give her this next time even though she's now over 6 mnths old?
Very confused

Hi Linda,

Vet told me that dogs are more likely to get sick if they have worms.  Happened to me once where my dog felt poorly and vomited, with a wormer I used before and used afterwards with no problems.

You might want to switch wormers next time just to be sure.  Some dogs do react to some and not others.
