If any one has got or is about to have a female Lhasa apso puppie could you please email me at Wkdtrace@blueyonder.co.uk with a price and any other information you think i might need such as if she comes with papers etc.  It would be better if they were in yorkshire or as near as.  I live in west yorkshire just outside skipton.  I am not in a desperate hurry but would like to get one as soon as possible.  I have 2 children aged 10 and 17 and she would be coming to a loving home where she would have company all day.

If you go to the Lhasa page on champdogs you will find a list of breed clubs.Your best bet is to contact them and ask their advise.They will tell you what health tests your puppys parents should have ahd and should have a list of litters available or due.
Please do not go to one of the puppy supermarkets in the north west...it really is not wise.There have been many threads on them if you do a search that will explain why.If you want a puppy that will grow to look like a lhasa I would only buy a pup that is KC registered (NOT DOG LOVERS REGISTRATION) ...there is a thread at the moment that is about a pup that was bought with no papers and now seems to be not pedigree.
Contact a good breeder and go on  a waiting list...it will be worth the wait.Do not scrimp on what you pay for your puppy...it will cost the same to raise and keep once you have it wether it is a good pedigree or a mongrel.
Can you go to crufts?? Go and see discover dogs and the Lhasas in the ring and on the benches...people are only too willing to talk about their dogs!! In fact you'll be lucky to shut them up if Lhasa people are anything like the people in my breed!!
