i will be attending oxford university for graduate school this autumn, and my husband and i want to purchase a new chesapeake, as ours recently died. we don't want to board the puppy in september, so we want to purchase one once we are there.

The chesapeake is not very common here in the Uk and I think that they prefer to sell into working homes first and foremost. Can I suggest that you contact the breed club for more information:
