Hi everyone, I was just thinking about my Sibe girl's birthday coming up on March 1st. I am planning to have a birthday party for her. Last year, I baked my own cake in the shape of a Siberian husky and sang happy birthday to Kieron. She loved it. The down part was I was the only one at the party. Oh well, this year I am planning on having Kieron's "boyfriend", Jake, and his owner, Nick, over to celebrate. Its exciting.

Then, on October 10, I will be celebrating Houdini's first birthday. Nick owns Houdini's sister, Shahoona. Myself and Nick's family will put on a huge party for the twins. We'll probably have lots of cake and ice cream, balloons, and party hats for the pups! We'll have toys and chew bones wrapped in wrapping paper for them to open. I just look forward to birthday parties for dogs!

So how about you all? Do you celebrate your dogs' birthdays? If so, what all do you do? If not, how come?

Hi, when Saffy was one year old, I baked a cake in the shape of a bone and Saffy, me and my three boys had a party for her.  We all had a piece of cake and were having great fun.  when I went out into the kitchen later, one greedy little pup (or big pup in Saffys case) had eated the whole of the cake!  Guess who was up all night being sick!:(  Last year, for her second birthday, we didn't bother with a cake!

My niece was so desperate for a birthday party for my dogs that we had a dog pyjama party, she brough her dogs and herself duely dress in pyjamas, mine had pyjamas on and the cat too ( he wasn't fussed thinks he is a dog anyway), they all stayed the night and played pass the parcel with dog treats in every layer lol was funny they all sat in a circle whilst my niece passed the parcel from one dogs mouth to the other lol ( cat wasn't interested in playing)

Ny nephew always throws aparty for Junior and Puglet.  As Juniors birthday is March it is often a little chilly, as we have to have it in garden so neice can attend (she is dog-terrified but doesnt want to be left out, and is OK when Junior is on lead) .  We have little sausages, and a birthday cake, chosen by nephew - he spends the couple of week before birthday dragging me around Supermarket bakeries to choose which one!  Max and Junior play games (and Pru too sometimes).  A great time is head by all!  Junior eats at least 20 sausages (always beats Max in the catch the sausage game! :) )  For Puglets birthday in May we can pull out all the stops and have the rest of the pugs present too (Pru can now cope with Pugs!)  last year  Puglet wors a great Pink rosette round her neck saying "Birthday girl"  We had a puppy shaped cake, little sausages, cheese cubes and chicken bites!   The dogs stuffed their little faces as much as the kids, and I got a great photo of Mabel sitting in a flower Pot trying to hide behind some lobelia after stealing someone elses food!  they played musical Pugs, sardines, and pass the parcel, with treats for every pug!

We also went to a Doggy Christmas party at our local Dog Resort!  (Yes, that is what it calls itself) with games and fancy dress.  A greast time was had by all.  dont think I have ever seen Puglet so happy and pleased with herself as when every one was cheering for her in the egg and spoon race!
bye
