Hi Lily
I hope this makes sense to you, cos I can see it in my head, but am not sure if I can get it across in words! Head for Glasgow on the A9, keep going straight ahead until signs for Greenock appear and follow these. Just as you are passing the city centre, there will still be signs for Greenock, but signs for Kilmarnock will appear, these are the ones to follow! This will eventually bring you onto the A77. Stay on the A77 until you come to a big roundabout from which Irvine (A71) is signposted as the right hand turning off the roundabout. Follow the A71 into Irvine and there should be signs for the Magnum. This is probably the most straightforward way, we once tried it coming off the A77 earlier following other signs for Irvine and got a bit lost :(
I would reckon that the journey would normally take us an absolute maximum of two 2 hours if all went well (we're about 20 miles further north than Perth), but there were extensive upgrading roadworks going on on the A77 with speed restrictions in places and cameras too and I think the roadworks are ongoing. When you come out, make sure you leave Irvine by the way you came in, we also got lost leaving and ended up on the coast road up to Greenock - very scenic indeed, but it took us hours to get home :D
Alternatively, if you're not sure about my directions, and I don't think I would be either :) have a look
Here where you can do a search for directions.
Hope this helps, and good luck at Irvine!

LF,
Where abouts are you if you're only 20 miles from Perth? I'm 13 miles east of it!

Hi Lily
Dundee, for our sins :D Sorry any native Dundonians reading this, I'm only joking :) But I'm originally from Ayrshire and OH is from Lancashire. Actually, come to think of it, have you met my other half (2 Spinoni) out on a dog walk? I'm sure he mentioned once meeting a lady with several Munsterlanders! Oh, and Backmuir, have you also been there, 'cos if so I've seen a lady with Munsterlanders there too?!!! Is it you? :)

Hi Nicky!
Cadmus is well, he now actually gives the impression on the odd occasion of being a responsible mature dog, believe it or not! We've still only got the 2 spins, but hope for another maybe end of this year, beginning of next :) Spike, after 2 and a half years of telling people we meet on walks that honestly, we do feed him is now finally beginning to put on a bit of body and he might just see a show ring again when he's about 5!
How is Hogan? It certainly brings back memories of them at ringcraft :D And their mate, the Ridgeback!!! When are you getting your 4th Munster then :D

Glad to hear how they all are doing. We haven't long had the third munster he is 9 months and like yours won't put on an ounce [lucky him]. Hogan is great and Erin our 5 year old daughter took over showing him at the end of last year and they have done alright together. Alison [the ridgeback Dempsey] now has one of his sons called Boston and he is as stunning as his dad. We ended up at ringcraft together with the pups again. This time it was Kai putting Boston in his place, very brave our Kai. Hopefully see you at some show, you will spot us miles away being pulled in all direction by the monsters!!!

Erin is 5!!!!!!!!!!? Already?!!!!!!! Blimey, it doesn't seem that long :) I'm glad to hear Allison has a Son of Dempsey, who is indeed stunning, and that Kai is upholding HPR honour :D We'll see you at Crufts!

Erin is actually 6 on the 13th march. [makes me feel old aswell] she also has a little brother now called Jason who just turned two.Alison's boy is really like his dad so you can imagine how impressive he is. As for Kai, he can't uphold himself he is very much the family fool and proud of it, nothing to do with me as he is owned by Erin so that says a lot!!!! Are you showing at Crufts this year? Will look out for you.
