i am looing for help for a friend regarding alaskan malamutes and siberian husky crosses can any1 who is familiar to either breed or a mix of the 2 breeds help me in anyway i would be most grateful thanks.

If your friend is looking into either of these breeds, it is important that your friend really researches them carefully to find out which will suit her/him best, before i got my sibie i was reading about them for at least 7 years. These two breeds are both beautiful looking dogs but are strong minded, independant and need plenty of exercise and mental simulation. As for the Cross malamute and husky, my personal opinion would be to get a pure bred husky or malamute as there are too many cross breeds out there that need rehoming. Plus these breeds have totally different temperaments and crossing them could be asking for trouble, although i could be wrong? Someone maybe along soon to have their say on this. Attend shows and rallies, meet owners with both breeds and go from there, your friend may change their mind once they have meet a few as they don't suit everyone.
