Hi, I'm looking to hire a Jag, either chauffeur driven or self-driven (well hubby will drive it!), for May to take my son to his prom night, he's had an obsession with jag's for years has the old jag off my dad's car in his room still (dad now passed on). I would love this to be a surprise for him. This is a long shot but does anyone know of anywhere I can hire a Jag or someone who lives near to Spalding who has one and would be prepared to take him to Donington from Spalding in it. Obviously I would pay. Would be a great surprise for him and I know he would be eternally grateful. Many thanks

You could have borrowed mine if you lived closer, but i'm in Lancashire! It's the X-type Sport, all black leather interior, super drive, only 6 months old. Which model does he like best? I'm pretty sure there are plenty of companies that will hire you one for the day, do a search for them on the net, that's how we found the garage that sold us ours, they were in Birmingham. Good luck!

I'm not sure which model he likes best he's into the ones footballers have, sorry for my ignorance but don't know much about them as I know I can't afford one! Thanks for your offer if only you lived closer would have been ideal. I have searched the net but Lincolnshire doesn't seem to have much in the way of Jaguar car hire. Your car sounds absolutely superb and I'm sure he'd have loved to arrive in that for his prom. Thanks again

XKR or XK8 is the model that footballers drive. Ive driven many many jags I was a Jag when the launched the Xtype had a go in several models (bad girl I exceeded the speed limit 125 in a 60 in silverstone) Xtypes hold the road like a train to a rail track.

Emma......there is a gorgeous XK8 for sale at our local dealer, it's a red one. At £58,000 it's a bit above my price range at the moment, but i'm working on it..........LOL I'm impressed with mine though, it drives like a dream & i've already had a speeding ticket so will have to start being more careful!

Easily done. Ive also driven the limited edition XKR'R. Blimey hold onto your seat what a car. The only jag that didn't grab me was the S type what alot of problems we had with those.
The only problem with the x Type is, due to the all wheel drive when replacing tyres its recomended that all four tyres are replaced the key is tyre rotation.

Hi,
Try doing a search at www.google.co.uk (select pages from the UK)
Keywords "car hire" jaguar Lincolnshire - you will have to try several different searches and refine your search but I am sure you will find something.
