Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Fully grown staff?
- By Guest [gb] Date 18.02.04 15:31 UTC
Can anyone answer this question for me please?
When is a staff fully grown?
I have been told various answers ranging from when they are nine months old to being told they don't start filling out until they are over a year old.
My pup is 8 1/2 months old now and is already quite broad but he doesn't have the big staff head (he is pedigree and not a Heinz 57), can anyone give me the right answer please?

He is a baby now. Dont worry anything around 2ish I would say depending on his breeding some lines mature later than others. 81/2 months is still very much "baby" with Staffs.

I agree with Karen totally.  It can take anything upto 24mths for a Staff to be fully grown and fill out properly.

Sarah.
