My 10 month old cairn terrier bitch urinates everytime you try to stroke her and every time we have vistitors.   I took her to the vet who assures me there is nothing wrong with her but surely she should have grown out of it by now.
Any suggestions.

Some bitches never stop, think it is lack of confidence, have it myself sometimes if I am worried about something. Can only suggest you speak to a trainer to see if you can increase her self confidence. Try someone from this link

Try to avoid eye contact with her when you stroke her and ask your visitors to do the same.
