My little westie is 5 months old and for the last month has had a runny eye.  It is a brownish colour discharge and is noticable on her white face.  It cleans easily with baby wipes but is consistent.  Does she need a vet?

I would take her to the vet, it sounds like it could be conjunctivitis.  If it is, it will need antibiotics and is highly Contagious to humans, so wash your hands after handling her.
