I have 2 spayed bitches and 3 entire dogs, the problem I am having is with one of the dogs and one of the bitches. The dog will not leave her alone he is following her everywhere and crying if she wont let him get near her.
Why is this I thought a spayed bitch wouldnt let off any scent.
We had this 2 weeks ago with the other bitch and the same dog, the other 2 dogs are not bothered.
Can anyone help me with this one.

This is quite common. Sometimes a spayed bitch will give off scent at the time she would have come into season if she hadn't been spayed. Some spayed bitches give off attractive scent all the time. Sometimes a tiny bit of ovarian tissue can be left behind and the bitch will still make all the usual hormones, and swell behind etc, just not bleed (no uterus) so can still be mated.

I have one spayed bitch who the boys are never attracted to, and another who they find wonderful for a couple of days every 8 months (her cycle was every 8 months) and are a right pain!

It could be that particular dog of yours is more sensitive to the smell.

I have an intact bitch and from day one the boys we meet have always shown excessive interest in her.  She just gives off some kind of attractive smell 24/7/365!!  Drives me nuts because there's no way to tell if she might be close to season (except that she's pretty much like clockwork) because they're no different then than any other time!!  I'm forever being given nasty looks for having an 'in season' bitch out when there's no way that she's anywhere near season.  I offer to let them check her out, but so far no one has taken me up on it!
