i have a german shepherd dog its 9 months old and suffers from bad hip dysplasia,ive been told to see a specialist or get him him put down,weve only had him six months and would be devostated to see him go so early, where do we start first on getting him on the mend ,ive got a pic of his recent x ray and i can show you how bad it is if anyone is interested,thanks.

I'm very sorry about your predicament.
I would take your dog to see a specialist who will advise you off the best course of action.The only real 'cure' for HD is hip replacement....unfortunately its very expensive.
