After seeing a few posts about Logic I bought a tube of it today .. I would like to know how effective it is controlling tartar build up.
My dog is not a chewer. She will chew on rawhide bones a little, but not aggressively and she loses interest in them quickly. She will not even chew on raw bones .. she carries them around and whines until she finds somewhere to hide them. Nylabones she is not interested in at all. Some of the edible Nylabones she will chew, but they are expensive and if she has enough to do any good they give her soft poo.
Dog treats or people food - if she deems them too big -- she will bring them to me to be broken into smaller pieces. There is nothing wrong with her teeth or mouth, she is just anti-crunch :-)
Which is why I thought I'd try Logic, but I am not sure if it lives up to its claims. Anyone else tried it?

Stacey, I would be interested to hear the replies to this too. I was thinking of getting it when I went to Crufts.

I ordered some last week and it hasn't arrived yet. I'm relying on this as my cocker has awful tartar on her teeth and I've realised over the past week that she won't chew (we did our gundog training well at least!). She has hide chews and a marrowbone (all untouched).
Where did you get yours from Stacey?

I bought Logic at my vet's surgery. I went in to pick up worming tablets and Frontline and saw that they stocked Logic.

I've found it very good, but you do have to use it daily. Also, it says to put it on the tongue, but I brush the dogs teeth with it. And they love the taste - if you do only want (or are able) to put it on the tongue, you will find after the first couple of days they are licking it out of the tube.

We used logic on ours for a couple of years, brushed on, and yes it worked very well but when we ran out one time we tried bicarbonate of soda and found that worked just as good so we have stuck with that.
The bicarb is definately a brush on job though.

fragaria homoeopathic tablets work well for some.
