hi, do you remember me telling you about nelly the lab pup with an eptopic ureter, well our vet is pressing us to quickly make a decision on what to do and it seems she will be put to sleep, as we think its best for her and we really cant afford the cost in all the operations she will have to have, and whether they will work or not? our friend who was to have nelly took one of our dogs instead Barney(after has daddy) do you really think this is the best solution too? also the vet has just looked at nelly and not done anything else but says what she thinks it is, aaaggggggggrrrrr nobody needs this to happen she just looks so healthy and normal and playful and just taking her to the vet to have her put down..............its hard

i had to have a rottie pup put to sleep for the same thing once,-as soon as she slept shes flood urine all over everything, she did have xrays and tests first thought to make sure thats what it was, --then after hearing the prospects from the vet we made the choice,

I would probably do the same thing. It would be unfair to let her suffer and not knowing if the ops would work you could save yourself even more heartache and money by putting her to sleep now.
I couldn't take my old bitch to the vets to be put to sleep my husband had to. He phoned me in work to let me know that it was over and he cried too.
