I can't remember the last time i logged in to CD, 1st the computer packed in which compared to what happened next was nothing, my brother was admitted to the hospice on 26th Jan and 8 days later on the 3rd Feb he passed away at 5.10pm . He had Leukemia ( cancer of the blood ) he had it for 22 years and died aged 30.
I am just about coping with every day life again, it is my first experience of death and losing someone so close. Our family new he wasn't going to reach old age but after every relapse with medical help he bounced back.But we are now relieved that he is not suffering anymore.

I am now looking forward to crufts and not feeling guilty about enjoying myself , I am now going to catch up with all the other posts.

So sorry to hear about your brother ... the last couple of months must have been so hard for you and your family. He must have been a real tough cookie though, to have coped with Leukemia so long ... and incredibly brave.

I have also only ever lost one close family member - my father. I know what a strange time the 'aftermath' is - it takes ages to to even begin to get your head together. I think you are doing absolutely the right thing, focusing on the future. It's a terrible cliche (but very true) that we owe it to those that we've lost to make the very most of life and live it to the full.

Which day are you going to Crufts? I'm going on the final day Sunday. If you are around and have a couple of minutes to spare we should grab a coffee - we've attempted to meet so many times in the past maybe this really is it!

Jo  Im so glad your house move is going well , i am so looking forward to meeting you but sadly it wont be at crufts, as i am going on saturday ( dobe day) ,I was going to suggest next sunday just for a coffee as i will be taking Terri home but i know what its like moving house ,a bit heck tick to say the least.when you get sorted give me a shout.

He certainly would,when he was alive he lived his life in the fast lane. You must have been reading my mind at some point because i have cancelled my accomodation so that i have more dosh to spend .
