Ok , advice please.
Mum has a 8 month Newfy boy who is allways limping on his front legs. His elbows feel like they are too close to his chest ( compared to my newfy bitch who is fine ) and his front legs turn out a little. He has trouble getting up also.
Obviously we have been to vet who has said they cant do tests till he's ayear ( 3 seperate vets ) we're sorting things this end ~ just wanted some other opinions.
Any advice gratefully recieved

Hi sorry to hear about your Mum's Newfie.I have a Newfie and she is almost 2.Although she has no problems and Idon't really have any advise for you.I'm sure somone with more experience will be along soon to help you out.
What weight is he and how long has he been this way?Have you tried glucosamine and condriton tablets? They are very good for stiff joints and I give one a day just as a precaution, although I know more can be given in severe cases. You can buy them in your local heath food shops.
regards
Brenda

It would be possible to suggest a few things it might be but we can't diagnose and the pup should see a vet, sooner rather than later. Should there be any bone/joint problem then the sooner it is treated the more likely that the outcome will prove satisfactory.
