Is it a bad idea to buy a puppy, if already having a dog?
I have a 9 yrs old Rough collie, and wanting to buy the same breed puppy.
Please could you give me some advise.

it is a top idea, will keep your dog you already have young, and something to boss around, and will also be excellent training for a new pup - ie where the line stops re behaviour etc - its exactly like having a second child though, you have to introduce the second one in a very chilled kind of way, like "oh look what we have here!! " but make sure they both have their own space and toys etc - go for it!
