something ive noticed in the last week or so is that amber ouy 3yr lab has started to strecth every time she changes position, now i know when shes been asleep for a long period of time that you would expect her to stretch, but now she seems to do it after sitting,or lying for a few minutes , she weighs about 28kgs and had her hips chechked when she was spayed at aprox 10mths old and the vet said that they were ok,she excersises ok and seems fine in every other repect, should i give any suppliments or anything or has anyone else got any ideas

my lab does the same thing.  He sticks his bum up in the air and has a good stretch...not everytime he gets up but just ocassionaly. Maybe it's a lab thing!?

What a coincidence, I weighed my labs yesterday and my 2year old weighs 28kg.  My 6yr old weighs 33 kg.  They do stretch a lot when moving.  Especially the bum in the air bit.  As long as she's nice and mobile when exercising, I wouldn't think it's anything to worry about.
