hi i need some help my girl is a ehglish mastiff she is 2 yers old.  we got a good boy for her things went well. she is expectd 20/22 of feb but she has not put on a lot of weight she is cleaning her vulva a lot nesing and is now looseing milk she is not looseing discharge she is very loveing all the time the vet sed it mybe a phantom ar a little litter can anybody help. thank you. I would get her checked by the vet, a scan might be a good idea to see if she is in whelp. If it is a small litter it might be advisable to have the vet aware it is a small litter, so that if she has problems whelping he will be ready. I had a bitch who only had one puppy, she needed a ceasarian because only having one puppy inside meant her contractions were not enough to push the puppy out, and the puppy would have died from a long birth process, if I had not had her scanned and the vet on call.
