Do you ever feel like phoning one of 'THOSE' adverts and asking questions?? Saw an ad today for rotty x bull mastiff..not uncommon BUT the ad said the mother was a crufts champion...some how can't believe it!!

Wonder what a 'Crufts Champion' is anyway, why not phone and ask them and then you can let me know perhaps it is something to do with the mythical Supreme Champion that the BBC was always on about ;)

Supose if a dog took it's 3rd CC at Crufts, it could be called a Crufts Champion, should one of mine rise to such hights I bet it would be at Birmingham or Doncaster, Doncaster Champion, does not have quite the same feel to it.

There was an ad in one of the dog papers a while ago for an Am cocker bitch by "Crufts Ch Boduf Pistols at Dawn with Afterglow"  so I rang (coz he is mine, although I would never describe him that way)  turns out he was the grand-sire of the litter!  They said "by" covered anyone in the male line!  Strangley, they were also charging quite a bit more than her than we charge of our pups, even those actually by Dexter.
