No we don't need to go visit AA ! :D
We have a problem with wine storage :)
We have one of those metal and wood framed build yourself wine racks that holds about 50 bottles. It is getting a bit rickety so we are after a new one. We don't want one that is the same design but something a bit different. there are lots of different nice designs that hold five bottles but what use is that is our house, nil !! :D
So can anybody give me any ideas where to look ? Mike my husband has seen a type of metal type domed affair with a door but he can't remember where he saw it. I have said in his dreams !! :D
Our kitchen is in a stainless steel splashbacks/modern oak type design open shelves and so will have to fit in with that type of design :)

xx
Anyway hope somebody can help.

Unfortunately my wine doesn't stay in the bottle long enough to need a wine rack, and the wine rack I have is filled with empty bottles

We normally have a full rack after shopping but then have a big space by the end of the week

The bottles that stay in it for any length of time are white wine, champers, and all the spirits ! :) Oh yes and a couple of bottles of Shloer for Flo :)

We gave up with a wine rack in the kitchen, also one of these metal bits with wooden sides type, 'cos the dog ate it!! He carefully peeled all the foils from the bottles too! Chewed the wood and spit the metal out!! Not long after that he became an outdoor dog, well he is a husky after all and my kitchen bears the scars 10 years on!! Still, he is still here, so it cant have done him too much damage!

I'll lend you my hubby :) he made ours - contains 160 bottles :D Can't be in need of AA as it's completely full. Built it into the end wall of our coat cupboard.

I bought a nice chrome one out of Homebase, it looks nice with the chrome things in the kitchen. It holds 12 but you can sit another 3 on the top ;-)
Lucy when I saw the title, the first thing I thought was " Lucy , problem with wine...NEVER" LOL

Blue Peter Fans
A cardboard box sprayed with a cheerful silver colour can hold up to 12 bottles. And you can selloptape boxes together for extra storage.
Alternatively, sellotape a candle to the top of each bottle and arrange along the mantlepiece for an attractive 'changing rooms' touch.
Better still, put the sellotape and the cardboard in a drawer and drink the wine. Empty bottles can be stored in the 'bin' which can hold up to 80 bottles.
good luck
Joe :)

lol @ joe
wine dont stay in a wine rack long enough for me
Hey, how about becoming tee-total (which of course I am ;) ) then you won't need to worry about a new wine rack, and think of all the money you would save, alternatively, could you build yourself a cellar? :)

I couldn't work out how the word problem had anything to do with the word wine. Ive never linked the two words in one sentence.

You only have a wine problem when you start to spill it ... ;)

Not a problem if you have a straw or just suck it up from the carpet
