Can you give me some idea how soon after having puppies is a bitch likely to come in to season again and when should we get her spayed to prevent another accident?

My bitches have always come into season after a litter at the same time as they would have if they hadn't whelped. The best time to spay her would probably be shortly after the pups have left (about 10 weeks post whelping).
