29 leads chewed through
2 long lines chewed through
1 kitchen floor lino
1 chinese rug
3 haltis
4 harnesses
several unchewable unbreakable toys
loads of pens /pencils
3 purses
numerous teddys

Becks has never really chewed anything he's not meant to. Am I just lucky or do I have all this to come? Hes six months.

You may well be lucky. My first three dogs didn't chew anything they weren't allowed!
:)

One leg of a table chewed, wire to the washing machine shredded, good job it wasn't plugged in at the time. Kitchen units nibbled. Never had this before from my other dogs but I still love my Ickle Man!
4 craters dug out of kitchen wall - replastered sprayed with Pet Training Spray from the store and promptly gouged again. This in spite of 1 Havaball, 1 frozen Kong, 1 large cardboard box with hidden treats, 1 excellent dog walker session, 2 good walks/training/play sessions a day plus radio on and fun times when were all home.
I kitchen lino ripped up
1 wicker waste paper basket eaten
12 dishcloths destroyed playing tuggy with Gothboy/kitchen cupboard
2 pairs boots worn out walking dog and 1 fleece ripped chasing dog through barbed wire fence. :D

1 coffee table
1 rug
1 dog duvet
3 cushions
1 futon base
1 wicker chair
1 wooden chair
1 cordless keyboard/mouse receiver cable
1 card reader (for digital camera) cable
2 floorboards
1 bowl pulled off the unfortunate coffee table and smashed.
Several books and magazines.
Despite having two long walks a day, and not being left for more than a couple of hours at a time. What a cherub...
I've really got off lightly haven't I?Maybe I should be bragging at how little she has done!!!:)Sandra.

Any type of paper she can get her paws on
1 dining chair seat (including wood) - twice
Numerous pens/pencils
1 hubby's shoe 'remodelled'
Bottom stair carpet (hated it anyway)
Several wire scouring pads
1 work in progress - wicker chair in conservatory gradually reducing in size
I think she's pretty good really!

Nells never chewed anything realy, apart from the odd slipper. I had a GSD years ago that chewed.
chewed his way through a thick wooden door
Ate a sideboard
chewed a three peice suite 2 chairs and a sofa
Ate the carpets
Ate the curtains
Then started on the nets
Came home ond day to find the place full of feathers. he'd eaten ripped all the cushions
Ate a large beef joint, which gave him the squits for days
Took the babys clothes out of the sideboard, and shredded them
if we wernt quick enough, ate the babys terry nappies
Swallowed a gold locket, and i had to poke through his poo till i could retrieve it
Ate a piece of barbed wired, which the vet had to retrieve
He did stop chewing chewing in the end. But only when we had nothing left in the house. lol sorry dont know were the smiles are. Can anyone tell me please

Ille say this very quitely whilst holding onto a piece of wood. Bradley has only ever eaten my glass's. He does not appear to chew things (yet).
New thing to be added, came home and she had got hold of a book(hubby SUPPOSED to be watching her)Guess what book she chose,a big clue is that it's by Stephen King!

that is so much destruction you must be going out of your mind
China blue,Correct.LOL Sandra.
LOL at Cujo chewing! Did I mention Morses fave snack of pens, bobbles ( for tying back hair) socks, brush handles, knickers ( used) and plastic coathangers? We should have a grip on this by now as hes 16 months, at least Sandras little Boerbels is a BABY. :D I thought getting a dog would encourage the tribe to be tidy too :D
Lorelei,I think they all like a wee chew no matter what age they are,Chieftain is 7 and still likes a wee nibble on the corners of our coffee table,I'm not going to buy a new one as they all like it too much!!

thought we were getting of lightly :D
however that all changed 10 days ago

1 kitchen lino ripped
1 new kitchen lino torn today.......said lino lasted 4 days........can't blame sir i was the stupid one whom ordered a new one  (much to other halfs amusement)
the bathroom lino looks nice and will remain intact as sir is confined to the kitchen when left.
hideous stick on floor tiles in kitchen will remain until next year when the kitchen will be ripped out and new one fitted along with a hard floor, no more lino.......
if that is all sir does i will happy......(rest of the house all decorated and new carpets, moved in 18 mths ago) he can however scratch the internal doors as they are still to be replaced (ssssshhhhhh he might have heard ;-) )
he's just over 7 months (boxer)
dare i ask how long will it continue................best poor myself a drink.
he will always be mummy's little angel :-)

1 brand new laptop computer
Puppy sitting on the couch.
Puppy sees table.
Puppy lunges towards table.
Puppy knocks full glass of grapefruit juice into the laptop.
Puppy's owner cries, cries, and cries.
Puppy's owner becomes also the owner of a very expensive paperweight.
Oh no,how does that song go'There may be trouble ahead......'.Sandra.
well if its any consolation my youngest has just stopped chewing!!! Aged 1 1/2 but it has not been an easy or cheap time!! Kya was fine for a while then she started chewing at age 11 month. This is what she can proudly claim she has destroyed
1 full kitchen including all doors and units
1 kitchen lino
1 kitchen carpet (thought it would be safer)
a full pine table and four chairs
skirting boards
door handle
scratched interior door
chewed through lamp cable and ate lamp shade
56 tea towels
2 expensive knives (ate the handles)
14 teracotta plant pots
1 plastic bin (should have known better)
about 7 drinking glasses which she actually eats, ends up ill for days with cut paws and a poorly tummy
and in a pile on the floor is about 30 differently toys which have never been touched including filled kongs, biscut blocks, chews, teddies, ropes, tuggers, balls and some wierd vanilla and chocolate scented things.
You may ask how has she managed this. Well firstly i have had seven dogs none of which has ever chewed even when young so it was a complete shock when i came home one day to find the lino totally demolished into little 1 inch square pieces. So i tried carpet, now that lasted slightly longer but is now chewed around the edges and the underlay is all ripped. I have deceded to wait to ensure she is finished before getting another floor. Kitchen cabinets and table and chairs have been done over time in a sneaky way. She cannot bear a tea towel on the drainer she just has to jump up and eat it, and being a GSD she has no quips about being able to reach. Glasses are a strange on firstly i had stupidly left one on the side and she knocked it of smashing it. A few days later she had actually managed (how???) to lift on out of the dish and eat most of it . Guess you could say its a fetish.
Iwish i could have blamed boredom but considering she has more toys and playmates than anything all of which she ignores it couldnt have been. I guess it was just her age. one things for sure if i ever get another pup im getting a cage!!!

I was hoping I had lucked out. My pup just hit her 8th month birthday. I guess I should keep watching Kirra like a hawk then, cause who knows when she may decided that things are good to destroy.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Everyone,
Thought I'd have a go since my two boxers where little devils when they where a bit younger.
*About 30 pairs of shoes
*Kitchen wall
*Kitchen Door
*Dug up the whole garden
*paddling pool
*ball pool
*3 bouncy castles
*Next doors bouncy castle(think it was maybe the fact that we had run out!!!)
*2 prams
*Curtains
*net curtains
*Cushions
*bedding
*my whole make up bag and contents(god how I cried)
*My contraception pill, which included a trip to the vets
*A bee, twice, 2 trips to vets
*Crayons
*chairs
*clothes
The list is endless, the worst bit was most of the stuff was away in cupboards, wardrobes, etc that they just got into. Oh remebered one more, which nearly got me in lots of trouble, bruce opening the window after i had gone out to work the one time that I was working at the same time as my hubby and coming to my work where he s**t in my bosses office on the rug in front of her desk(thank god she had boxers of her own and they where her fave breed.)
Luv Lou, Bruce n Lucie(who are now quite good).
You really do love your boxers, dont you? Keeping a sense of humour after that lot must have been an effort :D Mind you they are so endearing with their wobbly jowls and bouncy walk arent they? Glad to hear Bruce n Lucy are now reformed characters.
1 mobile phone
1 door surround
1 kitchen cupboard
1 ruined garden
1 kitchen wall
but he is now 11months old and seems to have stopped the chewing but still digs holes in my lawn
