Today i took my staffie to get chipped, and got a scab on his ear checked out, the vet said its a tumor and the tip of his ear has to be removed. I'm against it getting done but it has to, can anyone give me any advice on getting the Op done without costing me a alot, it was £50 just to get him chipped so i can just imagine the price of an operation

Ask the vet. Is your dog insured?

Think you should have shopped around for the chipping.  You can get it done cheaper than £50.

Not necessarily. Certainly not as much as his premature death if the tumour is malignant.

You must just ask yourself (and answer honestly) which is more important - your dog's looks or his life?

Sorry to hear this, it is one of the troubles with white ears. When you first said about it I was afraid this may be what it was, you must of course, have it done, the dog will not survive if you don't. If you really want to show you can write to the KC and get permission to show.
