Desperate to take my little dog to training classes, but can't find any in bedale / richmond / north allerton area.  Is there a register of training classes for this region.  (The only one I could find was full)

Try KC altho' they only list the ones that are registered with them - you may be lucky.
Would suggest that before registering, you go along and watch how it's run - if you're not happy find another one.

You live in the same area as i do.  I did attend an 8 week beginners class (and passed :-) or rather the dog did :D )

But was not happy with the tutor who had a preconceived opinion on my dog's breed and on the first week told me boxers are slow and i need to get a grip with him and be firm.

Towards the end of the class she said i needed to neuter him, :rolleyes:

and was always highlighting my faults, usually when sir was bored of sitting and staying for the umpteenth time he would decide to have a little kip :D and the tutor would usually becoming towards me at this time.

On the last class where we had a little test at the end sir ( now 7 months old) was mouthing a bit so she took it upon herself to slap him.  I didnt say anything but was furious and decided there and then i was not going to go back.

I've yet to find another class but seem to think there use to be one in thirsk, i know alot of them are darlington/teeside way.
