can any1 advise me on pet insurance? i am looking into policies for my 2 dogs and as my oldest is 9 (10 next month) the only place that i can find that insure older dogs is E&L insurance does any1 else have this insurer or can they advise me of any others that accept older dogs? thanks in advance.

If you run a search using the facility in the top right hand of the corner page, you will find a few past threads on this subject.

and most won't touch E&L with a barge pole...
As admin have said search on insurance and see the comments for yourself.

Not sure if PetHealthcare Services or MoreThan will be able to help?
Although I suspect which ever insurance company will insure the premiums
may be higher than if you'd have had them insured before they reached 'old age'.

Always remember you get what you pay for, cheap monthly premiums can be a
false economy and have plenty of 'get-out'  or exclusion clauses

Do not touch E&L!!!  I always knew this, and then let the boyfriend arrange our girls insurance :rolleyes: - To be fair it was with a company called Animal friends insurance, and to my surprise when the documants came through they were underwritten by E&L :eek: - Low and behold, we made a claim in November...Oh and guess what, still not settled...Its only £250 but they really are bloody useless
