what the hell!?

they must be havin a larf! i can slighty understand bull breeds being banned, but bl*ody goldies! come on whats the world comming to!

There are a lot of countries in Europe...  As far as I know the UK is in Europe, too !

I know that in some states in Germany any dog over 40cm tall (14 inches) and 20kg weight has to be muzzled and kept on a lead in public.  That takes in a lot of breeds including my own that have a very good history regarding temperament, especially regarding people.

Also most of the Bull Breeds, but interestingly none of the Guarding Breeds of Germanic origin have to undergo mandatory Temperament testing, some of which appears to be reaction to being teased.  I would expect any self respecting dog tied up0 and poked with sticks to react by barking or growling.  I know that my breed would bark.

Also many naturally vocal breeds would be seen as agressive, wheras most are just gobby.
