Hello.  I currently own a 8 mnth old bandog (50% neomastiff/ 50%APBT). He has obatined the best qualities from his parents. I was wondering if anyone could give me some info on how and where I can register him. I also want to start his training and entering competitions so I can develop his full potential. Thank you ! - Lacey

I don't think he can be registered??  I thought bandogs were banned in the UK and also thought that all APBT have to be neutered and its illegal to breed them.

You can no longer register Bandogs or Pitbulls in the UK and if someone in authority reads your post your dog will be taken from you and distroyed. If you are in someother country I have no idea.

band dog doesnt mean they are banned dogs
do research before you comment on this please or u will make people believe such things
bandog is bandog from old saxon dogs which were originall tied and released during night for patrol and guard-like the original bullmastiff which was a bandog-bulldogxmastiff

May be your best plan would be to ask whoever bred the dog, they are banded in the UK and as far as I know a good deal of Europe.

You can breed and sell a Bandog  in this country and lots of people do, you can buy them from any paper
mag/internet site just take a look at all those x breeds. i dont agree with the crossing of breeds? But you will never stop it so it is best to tell novice owners to be very careful what x breed they buy if it is to be a family pet and how the law could step in.

And you will not be able to register it. Well not with the KC, anywhere else is pointless.

There may be a lot about but they are of the "pitbull type" and banned, they could be taken at any time, only takes a few cross words with a neighbour and the owner could well be "shopped"
