You can nstill take him out of coat, though the judges will take things like this into consideration, such as how do they now if he can grow a good coat etc,

take him anyway it will be a good experience,

I might see you there

To be honest most of the sibes there will be out of coat as this is that time of year when we all have thick fluffy persian carpets floating on the laminate flooring.  I try to avoid wearing anything black during February! I honestly don`t know where it all comes from. I swear my bitch is growing it on an hour to hour basis just so I can brush it out straight away!

I have elkhounds and am in the same situation.Do not let this stop you going...lack of coat does not affect the conformation and movement of your dog and IMO a good judge will not let it affect their judgement. If there were 2 dogs that the judge needed to split then it may come into play. You will not be the only one there with a dog not in its best jacket
Just go and enjoy the day...Good luck

You only avoid black in Feb, lucky you I can never where the stuff unless I want white fluffy bits as an extra :D :D
